Ross Sharpe is the principal of the practice. He read History of Art and Architecture, then Architecture at St John’s College, Cambridge gaining his final Diploma and a Masters Degree in Architectural Theory there.
Since qualification he has worked for a number of well-known traditional and classical practices and became Associate Director of Robert Adam Architects, then Director of King, Dale, Sharpe before forming Ross Sharpe Architects. He has been involved in the design of many prestigious commissions throughout the country and has specialised in projects within important historic or landscape settings. He has taught on the graduate course at the Prince of Wales’s Institute of Architecture and was a founder member of the Traditional Architects’ Group. The practice has recently won a clutch of awards and Ross is equally keen to promote exceptional and contemporary design solutions where appropriate and intellectually justified. |
